Clever Idea: Cookie Mix

This mix came in this sweet jar with baking directions- so cute!

Last year we went to baby shower for a dear friend who was having her first child. Her momma and sisters-in-law requested that all the guests fill the new baby library with an assortment of great children’s literature - isn’t that a delightful and smart idea? Clever, huh?

We all know that babies need clothes and diapers and car seats and pacifiers and bottles and strollers and on and on and on but books are special gifts that last a lifetime and bring a lifetime love of reading … the best gift of all!

When we were all leaving the baby shower we were each given a ‘thank-you-for-coming’ gift of cookie mix in a mason jar, with instructions, and a picture of the famous children’s book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. A very clever idea!
